By breaking the walls between the living area and guest room, the designer created a completely open space for the layout. A long custom made veneer desk was placed behind the sofa in order to separate those two different functional areas. The designer also decided to remove the partition of the kitchen and extend the cabinets into a U shape design which can enhance the connection with the dining area. To further develop the complexity of the Scandinavian style, a meadow green painting, mud yellow sofa and featured different wall coverings were added into the whole apartment as well as creating a various contrast throughout the design.
